Welcome to Higganum Village Farmers' Market
3:30 - 6:30 p.m.
JULY 25, 2014
The humidity has subsided. What better way to celebrate than at the market with an herbal beverage from Whole Harmony and a treat from one of our bakeries?
Welcome back Three Sisters Farm this week. Glenn sells honey, soaps, natural insect repellant, jewelry, and more.
Auntie Arwen takes a month hiatus to attend her medieval festival in Pennsylvania. She will return in August.
Pisgah Mountain Kettlecorn also takes a break this week for a well-deserved vacation.
HK Youth and Family Services joins us this wee.
Hang around after the market to enjoy the HK Park Rec concert!
Once again we're expecting brilliant weather on Friday so come to the market to shop, socialize, and enjoy!
For latest updates on vendors, events, etc., please check our Facebook page.
Would you like to volunteer to help at the market? We need helpers for publicity, set-up and take-down, booking musicians from an existing list and many other tasks. If you are interested, please see Gail the market manager.

About UsThe Higganum Village Farmers' Market supports local farmers and artisans by making Connecticut Grown farm-fresh foods and products available to shoppers on a weekly basis.
The market is held on the Higganum Green every Friday from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. from the beginning of June through the end of October. Please review the calendar for specifics.
Buying locally conserves resources by reducing shipping and packaging and providing fresher food without or with less preservatives. Additionally, you help save valuable Connecticut farmland, which is increasingly being lost to residential and commercial sprawl.
Founded in 2008, the Higganum Village Farmers' Market began as a group effort of several Haddam residents to promote the center of Higganum and renew a sense of community.
The Market Board would like to thank the town of Haddam, the Connecticut Department of Agriculture, and Haddam/Killingworth Parks and Recreation for their cooperation and support.
